With special focus on those with HIV, CISS works at improving the health status of people living with HIV in the project area. Trainings are carried out to the PLWHIVs on adherence and positive living. Preventive health is also applied in the schools covered by CISS through health clubs. The aim is to reduce the number of pupils missing classes due to diseases that are spread through poor hygiene practices.We achieving this by training school health clubs in maintaining the environment, personal hygiene and hand washing after visiting the toilet and before meals,
The Organisation also engages the community through dialogues on issues around transformative masculinity. Transformative masculinity aims at increasing awareness and reorienting the thinking of the target groups from a hegemonic to transformative state in improving the relationship between male and female genders in the society particularly on roles and responsibilities in development. Our interventions are targeted towards achieving goal 3, 5 and 6 of the Sustainable Development goals;
