Supporting 200 women and youth groups through table banking and management of income generating activities to increase financial inclusion and improve household incomes.
Encouraging sustainable farming by training farmers on Agro-ecology and Value addition practices, impacting a population of 500,000 people in Rural and Peri Urban areas.
Supporting the establishment of woodlots by planting over 720,000 trees and distributing 6000 energy-saving stoves to help households develop sustainable solutions to climate change.
Supporting peace building through conflict resolution and peaceful coexistence in the community, promoting peace building at the household level.
Focusing on maternal health, mental health, personal hygiene, and reproductive health to ensure quality and dignity of life in rural communities.
Ensuring digital inclusion through deployment of digital villages, digital literacy, and advocacy of policy framework to support digitalization.
We focus on strengthening democracy through policy frameworks, public participation, and civic education. Our initiatives support advocacy, lobbying, and enhancing citizen engagement in budgeting and legislative processes.
With extensive experience working with communities on sustainable development, CISS excels in developing, documenting, and sharing local knowledge and solutions. We collaborate with higher education and research institutions to advance our strategic objectives.
CISS focuses on vulnerable communities to empower households by supporting initiatives that target groups. This is done through two pillars of capacity building and empowerment interventions. We are committed to support sustainable development using community centric designed projects.
CISS works in rural and Peri-urban Areas through target groups, Women and youths, People living with disability, Primary Schools, Support Groups and Individual Farmers.
Our preferred approach to development is co-creation in designing projects that address the development needs of the community with partners who have mutual objectives.
We're open to respond to call for proposal or expression of interest by funding partners in line with CISS strategic focus.
